The Suzuki Master Fishing event brought together fishing enthusiasts for its 5th edition. It was a wonderful weekend combining a passion for sport fishing with a friendly atmosphere. Nearly twenty teams participated in this catch-and-release fishing competition—an environmentally friendly form of fishing—on Sunday, August 30, 2026, off the coast of the Saint-Tropez peninsula.

The crews had gathered on Friday, August 28, 2026, for the briefing at the Société Nautique de St Tropez, followed by a festive meal at the Casa Cri restaurant.
On Saturday, due to unstable weather, the competition was postponed until the following day, so the competitors played a game of pétanque on the Place des Lices: the MAGA team finished in first place.

During the awards ceremony, attended by Pierre Roinson, President of the Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez, Jean-Claude Moreu, a Saint-Tropez city council member responsible for port, maritime, and coastal affairs, made a point of thanking the organizers, the SNST, and the participants on behalf of the Mayor.

The “Clean Ocean Project” trophy perfectly illustrates this concept.
Rewarding the crew that collected the most trash during the race is a powerful gesture that reminds us that each of us can contribute to protecting the Mediterranean.
Beyond the sporting results, this competition is also a wonderful human adventure.
It brings together passionate anglers, boating professionals, ambassadors from the Suzuki Fishing Team, and loyal customers, all united by a shared passion and a spirit of camaraderie…
