Art, Skiing and Sailing!

Created in 1978, the ARMEN Festival is a renowned and popular event (sometimes more than 70 yachts compete).
The name “ARMEN”, a contraction of ARt MEr Neige, is of course also a nod to the lighthouse of the same name.

In addition to the rankings for each discipline: Sailing, Skiing and Art, there are three prizes to be won by competitors:

The “André Hermann” Challenge: best combined ski-sailing ranking
The “René Perrier” Challenge: best combined Art-Sailing ranking
And, of course, the Armen Trophy: best combined Art-Ski-Sailing ranking

Note that this event counts towards the IRC Mediterranean crewed ranking.

THE MAIN PRINCIPLES OF THIS FESTIVAL:

– Art in the spotlight during Festival week.

(A work of art must be created by one of the crew members of the participating yacht on a theme defined in advance (Cf. Art competition rules). theme 2025: cetaceans, fish and whales

– The first weekend of racing and, weather permitting, the event consists of a different course off the Gulf of Saint-Tropez.

– A ski event on Friday in Auron

– A second weekend of regattas in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez.
This event is open to modern OSIRIS Habitable, IRC and Traditional yachts.
