This celebration of sports, elegance, and camaraderie is set to take place from September 26 to October 4, when the 28th edition of Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez will be held. Expertly organized by the teams at the Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez, this celebration invites you to join in but does not impose a seating arrangement. With its three fleets—Modern, Traditions, and Maxis—eclecticism is the order of the day, and the return of the J-Class boats is the highlight of the event. Coming from all corners of the world, some 3,500 crew members will celebrate the art of regatta racing against the stunning backdrop of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez.
A spectacle unlike any other in the world
Stroll along the quays in the evening and lose yourself in the rigging of the most beautiful classic yachts, the minimalism and majesty of the Maxis, or the technological elegance of the fleet of modern sailboats. Don’t miss a single one of the departures, which follow one after another like a parade at noon at the Portalet Tower; try to guess who won as the gulf fills up again come evening—a promise that the day has only just begun in the narrow streets of Saint-Tropez or at the Bar des Voiles… That’s what Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez is all about! And no one ever tires of it, year after year, ever since the first Nioulargue in 1981—of which this one-of-a-kind regatta week is the worthy successor.
While the formula remains unchanged, each year brings its own array of new features for exclusive experiences. In 2025, the majesty of the three-masted schooner Atlantic enchanted spectators. Scheduled to return in 2026, the 1905 North Atlantic crossing record-holder “ will share the spotlight with at least three Class J yachts,” reveals Pierre Roinson. “Much like last year, these very large vessels honor Les Voiles, but their presence in the harbor—where areas accommodating drafts of more than 5 meters are limited—will require us to make some choices,” continues the president of the SNST, who has already received more than 250 registration requests with more than three months to go before the event.

A warm welcome, a love of celebrations
Relocated to the Jean Réveille pier in 2023, the revamped Les Voiles village has given the event an exceptional scale and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. This space, straddling the harbor and the gulf where the general public and VIPs mingle, would be nothing without the expertise of the technical teams from the company responsible for setting up the village, as well as the support of the main partners of Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez.
Always striving for improvement, the Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez has appointed an Artistic Director this year to take a fresh look at the event’s social spaces. The plan includes standardizing signage and logos, improving wayfinding for the public, and ensuring smooth traffic flow throughout the site.
This marks a new step forward for the 28th edition of Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez, which promises to be a year full of celebrations. The year 2026 will mark the 20th anniversary of the partnership with Rolex, as well as the 100th anniversary of the Comité International de la Méditerranée, not to mention the 150 years of maritime commitment by the Edmond de Rothschild family through the Gitana saga—a line of iconic boats unique in the world.
So, save the date!

The organizing club for Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez, the SNST also serves as the supporting club for the French La Roche-Posay Sailing Team, “ which can count on the unwavering support of the SNST’s 500 members, who are delighted to be a cornerstone of this new campaign,” says President Pierre Roinson.
The Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez is, in fact, taking on the challenge of the oldest international sports trophy for the second time; its 38th edition will take place in 2027 in Naples, competing against its counterparts from England (Royal Yacht Squadron), Italy (Circolo del Remo e della Vela Italia), Swiss counterparts (Société Nautique de Genève), American counterparts (Sail Newport), and Australian counterparts (Royal Prince Edward Yacht Club)—not to mention, of course, the New Zealand Defender (Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron).
