Sports weekend at the Challenge Interclubs in St Tropez on February 14 and 15, 2026

After the weekend in Saint-Raphaël on January 24-25, the Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez organized its regatta weekend on February 14 and 15 for the Challenge Interclubs 2026, which includes eight races during the year.

Nearly 30 yachts set off into the Gulf of Saint-Tropez to compete in Races 3 and 4, organized by the Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez race committee under the leadership of Jacques Herry.

Weather conditions were wintry, with mixed conditions and a WNW wind of 10 to 15 knots on Saturday and 15 to 25 knots on Sunday. Enough to keep the sails well fed and the competitors happy!

In the OS1 group this weekend, L’AUTRE FEMME by Lionel Michon (SN Saint-Tropez) takes the lead ahead of MOUSS MOUSS Mohamed Dakhlaoui (Sainte-Maxime) and POUNENTAU II by Christian and Françoise Fauret (SN Saint-Tropez).

In the OS2 group, Sylvain Bretagne’s OVERDOSE NEO (SN Saint-Tropez) took first place, ahead of Christelle Renaud’s TEAM CAPTAIN NASON’S (CV Les Issambres) and Serge Ehrhardt’s MIKALA (SN Saint-Tropez).

In OS3, Marc Pons’ MACAYA (Ste Maxime) won both races, ahead of Philippe Peyraverney’s MOTIVES 2 (SN Saint Tropez) and Jérémy Combe’s BIM 3 (SN Saint-Tropez).

But nothing’s decided yet, as at this stage there are still four races to be contested during the two upcoming regatta weekends organized respectively by the Port Fréjus Yacht Club (October 10 and 11) and the Club Nautique de Sainte Maxime (November 7 and 8).

To win, you need to be consistent and take part in as many races as possible. The overall ranking will be based on the total of the eight races before the prize-giving ceremony, which will take place at the Port Fréjus Yacht Club on December 5, 2026.

Now it’s time for the Armen Festival, where versatility is required from competitors who, in addition to competing over two weekends of regattas, will have to complete a work of art for one of the crew and a skiing event in Auron for two of the crew per participating boat.
All of which was enhanced by a beautiful exhibition organized by Cécile de Kock at the Lavoir Vasserot in Saint-tropez from March 6 to 18, 2026.
