Summer Family Regatta
Every year in August, the Aoutienne VSC Robert Pourchet Trophy brings together the racing members of the Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez. It’s a summer tradition for the club and an opportunity to sail with family and friends in a friendly atmosphere.
The program features two days of regattas, a convivial lunch, and an awards ceremony.
The event—open by invitation to Osiris-rated sailboats—features about fifteen boats competing.
A Family Tradition Rooted in
Following in the footsteps of the renowned leather artisans Robert and France Pourchet, who launched this event in 1993, their children and grandchildren—along with Éric Pourchet’s company, V.S.C., have carried on the tradition of this event, helping to organize it and bringing the whole family together for the traditional meal in the company of Club members.
Weather permitting, the first race will start on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. And on Sunday, participants will race on a shorter course starting at 10 a.m. before gathering in the early afternoon for lunch on a beach in Saint-Tropez, followed by the awards ceremony.
