The final prize-giving ceremony for the 2025 interclub challenge celebrated its winners on Saturday December 6 at the Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez.
After six races out of eight in the OS1 group, Lionel Michon’s L’AUTRE FEMME (Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez) took first place on the podium, ahead of Raphael Duhamel’s LA MICHE (CN Sainte Maxime) and Fabrice VACHEZ’s OXIBIEN (YC de Port Fréjus).
In the OS2 group, Serge Ehrhardt’s MIKALA from SN Saint-Tropez takes the overall lead, ahead of Alain Carrié’s PILI PILI (YC Port Fréjus) and Denis Favier’s IEMANJA 2 (CN sainte Maxime).
In the OS3 group, Jean-Marie Bisbal’s ALTAIR team (CN Saint Raphael) finished first, ahead of Marc Pons’ MACAYA (CN Sainte Maxime) and Jérémy Combe’s BIM 3 (SN Saint-Tropez).
In the presence of Loïc Laizet, president of the Club Nautique de Sainte Maxime, Jean-Luc Poreaux, vice-president of the Yacht Club de Port Fréjus and Jean-Marie Bisbal of the Club Nautique de Saint Raphaël, Sylvain Bretagne, vice-president of the Société Nautique Saint Tropez, thanked all the participants. This year, some fifty yachts were involved in the annual challenge, which includes four weekends of regattas in each of the organizing clubs:
“The challenge once again demonstrated the vitality and passion that drive our clubs and crews. A huge thank you to the organizing clubs for the quality of their organization, their commitment and the excellent welcome reserved for participants, to the volunteers whose involvement, both on land and at sea, remains essential to the smooth running of each meeting, to the crews who offered us some great racing and to all those who helped make this Challenge Interclubs 2025 an unforgettable moment.”
During the convivial awards ceremony, which ended with a musical aperitif, a tribute was paid to Ghislaine Panaye, a regular regatta competitor for many years, who sadly passed away this year.
Now it’s time for the 2026 interclub challenge, this time presided over by the Yacht Club de Port Fréjus, which will again feature four weekends of racing, starting on January 24 and 25, 2026 in Saint-Raphaël. A great opportunity for sailors from the Gulf of Saint-Tropez to get together around their shared passion: sailing.
