The Challenge Interclubs* will open the regatta ball on February 14 and 15, 2026 (after the first regatta weekend organized by the Club de Saint-Rapha\u00ebl on January 24 and 25). <\/p>\n\n

Next up, the ArMeN Festival from March 6 to 15, 2026<\/strong>, a competition that combines sailing, art and skiing for a variety of pleasures. <\/strong> <\/p>\n\n

Created in 1978 by Ren\u00e9 Perrier, then president of the SNST, the ARMEN Festival is a renowned and highly prized event for over sixty sailboats. The name “ArMeN” is a contraction of ARt MEr Neige and a reference to the Breton lighthouse. <\/p>\n\n

The main principles of this festival:<\/p>\n\n

– An art exhibition from March 6 to 18, organized by sculptor C\u00e9cile de Kock and featuring other artists, will take place this year at the Lavoir Vasserot in Saint-Tropez (a work of art must be created by one of the crew members of the participating sailboat on this year’s theme “The Guardians of the Sea”).<\/p>\n\n

– A first weekend of regattas (OSIRIS, IRC) on March 7 and 8. This year, competitors won’t be heading for Cavalaire, as the port is undergoing repairs, so the event will consist of a long coastal course starting from Saint-Tropez. <\/p>\n\n

– A Friday ski event in Auron on March 13<\/p>\n\n

– A second weekend of regattas on March 14 and 15 in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez.<\/p>\n\n

The event attracts competitors from all over the region and beyond.<\/p>\n\n

In addition to the rankings for each discipline: Sailing, Skiing and Art, there are three prizes to be won by the competitors:The “Andr\u00e9 Hermann” Challenge: best combined ski-sailing rankingThe “Ren\u00e9 Perrier” Challenge: best combined Art-Sailing rankingAnd, of course, the Armen Trophy: best combined Art-Ski-Sailing ranking.<\/p>\n\n

*The interclub challenge was created in the 1990s to bring together the boats of the clubs in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. The Club Nautique de Saint-Rapha\u00ebl, the Club Nautique de Sainte-Maxime and the Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Nautique de Saint-Tropez are still involved, recently joined by the Yacht Club de Port Fr\u00e9jus. <\/em><\/p>\n\n

Four clubs, four weekends and a general OSIRIS ranking are the ingredients of this challenge.<\/em><\/p>\n\n

This challenge brings together around fifty boats over the whole event, and between twenty and twenty-five boats per weekend. To win, you need to be consistent and take part in as many races as possible. The overall ranking is based on the total of the eight races organized. <\/em><\/p>\n\n

Provisional calendar of nautical events in Saint-Tropez in 2026 :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

– Challenge Interclubs: February 14 and 15 (regattas between clubs in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez)<\/em><\/p>\n\n

– Festival Armen: March 6-15 (event combining sailing, art and skiing) <\/em> <\/p>\n\n

– Paprec 600 Saint-Tropez: April 18-25 (Mediterranean ocean racing) <\/em> <\/p>\n\n

– Coupe de l’Hippocampe: May 1-3 (regattas with the Smeralda 888 class)<\/em><\/p>\n\n

– Dames de Saint-Tropez L’Or\u00e9al: May 8-10(women’s regatta – traditional sailboats)<\/em><\/p>\n\n

– Bravades regatta: May 17 (regatta in the Tropezian tradition)<\/em><\/p>\n\n

– Les Voiles Latines: June 5-7 – Organized by the Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Trop\u00e9zienne des Voiliers de Tradition (STVT) <\/em> <\/p>\n\n

– Loro Piana Giraglia: June 11-17 in Saint-Tropez (coastal races in Saint-Tropez before the offshore race to Genoa)<\/em><\/p>\n\n

– Troph\u00e9e Bailli de Suffren: departure June 20 for Malta – cruising race<\/em> organized by the Marenostrum Racing Club<\/em><\/p>\n\n

– L’Ao\u00fbtienne VSC Troph\u00e9e Pourchet: August 22-23 (the family summer regatta)<\/em><\/p>\n\n

– Suzuki Master Fishing: August 29-30 (no-kill fishing competition)<\/em><\/p>\n\n

– Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez: September 26 – October 4 (races for classic, modern and maxi yachts) <\/em> <\/p>\n\n

– Les Voiles d’automne: November 14-15 (competition in the Gulf of St Tropez open to IRC and Osiris yachts)<\/em> <\/p>\n\n

Please note: Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Nautique de Saint-Tropez is the challenger club for Team France in the 2027 America’s Cup. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n
